POLICY AS OF OCTOBER 11, 2025:
If you select the Standard Shipping option at checkout (which is our cheapest option or FREE for orders over $200), Free Bleed® will cover the duties/taxes in advance on your shipment. This means you should NOT expect to receive any notifications or invoices from customs after you make your purchase - your order should deliver smoothly and with no unexpected fees! This is our courtesy gift to you 🎉
If you select an Express Shipping option (DHL Express), Free Bleed® does NOT cover the duties/taxes for your shipment, because DHL charges brokerage fees in addition to duties and taxes at the time your shipment clears US customs. This means you SHOULD expect to receive phone/email notifications from DHL at the time your parcel clears the border, requesting that you remit payment for your parcel to be delivered.Â
NOTE! As of October 11, Canada Post has switched from being on strike to a rotating strike, which means that parcels will progress through the postal system, however they will progress slower than usual.
Therefore if you select Standard Shipping (Canada Post) at checkout, expect your parcel to take a bit longer to arrive.
